International Forum on One Korea

Global Peace Foundation and Alliance for Korea United invite you to an afternoon discussion on the Unification of the Korean Peninsula. The International Forum on One Korea is scheduled for Wednesday, December 12 from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM at the Carnegie Institute for Science. Experts including Dr. Edwin J. Feulner, Founder, The Heritage Foundation and Hon. John Everard, former British Ambassador to North Korea will explore the theme “Unified Korea: Strategic Framework for Resolving the Korean Peninsula Issue.”

Unified Korea provides a framework through which Korean citizens and policymakers can fully factor the long history and traditions of the one Korean people as expressed by the time honored ideal of hongik ingan – to live and work for the benefit of all mankind. This forum will discuss strategic framework development for a unified Korea, predicated on democratic ideals and essential liberties through which issues of denuclearization, human rights, religious freedom, and myriad infrastructure and other logistical issues can be addressed.

As factors affecting peace on the Korean peninsula change at a rapid pace, momentum continues to grow for a unified Korea that is guided by high ideals and upholds the rights of all. Global Peace Foundation, Alliance for Korea United, and global partners are endeavoring to advance this movement.

We hope you can join us!
